Surat Magazine
Here's the cover of Surat Magazine that was one of the hardest projects I've ever done but I'm happy with the result with Geena Rocero On the cover. What was supposed to be a quick weekend project stretched to nearly a year. Even though I'm considered an "expert" in the script, it was still a big challenge because of languages, typography, layout, and coordinating with all the contributors. One article I transliterated turned had to be redone because I was just typing away and it turned out that autocorrect was running. There are some errors that I hope people will catch as a learning opportunity. Since this is the first magazine printed primarily in prePhilippine scripts, it will definitely be a conversation starter from the photography, cover story about Lakapati and technicalities. I'm not under any delusion that many people will be able to read it but I know that it will spark interest for others that will build on this. There are too many people to thank. Y'all can read your names in the magazine but my partners that helped me put this together Geena, Nicolo, Charmaine, and Norman.
