Binakol waist bag
The Binakol (umbrella term) for the kusikos (whirlpool) or alipugpog (whirlwind), is a traditional weaving pattern from the Itneg and Ilocanos of Northern Luzon in the Philippines. The patterns are often black and white and create an op-art, 3-D “twister” pattern. It's believed that the designs would confuse and distract evil spirits. Printed.
